Thermoplastic polyurethane is a high performance material with a unique mix of physical properties not available in other thermoplastic materials, synthetic rubbers or vinyl. Combining the elasticity of rubber with the toughness and durability of metal, Argotec’s products are used to replace rubber, plastic, and metal in critical applications that must perform in demanding conditions without failure. When an application requires a combination of two or more physical properties to perform, thermoplastic polyurethane is the material of choice.

Argotec films and sheet are available in a wide range of thicknesses depending on the application and extrusion method, from 0.2 to 80 mils and widths up to 86 inches; the longest splice-free rolls in the industry. Argotec’s best-in-class portfolio is comprised of aromatic and aliphatic polyether, polyester, and polycaprolactone films and sheet. All products are available with standard additive packages or custom formulations to provide special finishes (gloss, matte and smooth) and textures as required.
