Blown-film extrusion
Flat-die, cast-on-carrier extrusion
in multi-atmospheric cleanrooms
FACILITIES
Argotec was founded and built its first office and manufacturing facility on Greenfield Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts in 1988. It contained both flat-die and blown-film extrusion operations.
Business increased signficantly so that in 1999 a second plant was put into operation nearby on Adams Road. Inside were two state-of-the-art, flat die, cast-on-carrier extrusion lines, both housed in a Class-10,000 hard-walled clean room.
Argotec's ongoing investment in the urethane film industry is seen in major additions to each of these plants in 2005 and 2007. Just around the corner is the company's largest and most aggressive expansion yet in 2008, Argotec's new Silvio Conte Drive operation. The addition of this facility will more than double again our square footage and capacity, totaling over 150,000 square feet.
At the same time the Adams Road plant is being rededicated as the industry's only stand-alone facility devoted to the research and development of new and improved urethane films and processes, both our own and those of our customers. It is aptly named the Argotec Innovation Center.
Not only the driving force in today's TPU film industry, Argotec is the future of urethane film & sheet.
More than just buildings, each facility has been reinforced with the most
modern high-volume extrusion operations and computerized in-line quality
inspection systems on the planet. The result: world-class quality and competitive pricing on small to very large film programs.
