THREE TYPES OF TPU FILM SUPPLIER...
WHICH DO YOU HAVE?

There are three basic types of urethane film suppliers. One is the high volume, commodity manufacturer. They are good at extruding a few basic formulations with standard resins that fill certain market needs, relying on efficiency and volume to stay competitive.

Second are the "me too" companies who make the same basic products as the first but carve out market share through price and delivery.

The third type asks the market what it needs and then listens carefully. That's Argotec. We work closely with both customers and resin suppliers to create films specifically engineered to the exact needs of a customer's particular application. This approach may sound simple, but you would be surprised how often manufacturers fail to simply listen.

CUSTOM FORMULATIONS

To provide superior value and solid business solutions for your most difficult engineering challenges, you need a partner possessing the expertise, capability and willingness to formulate new polyurethane or other thermoplastic compounds that will meet the specific demands of your applications.

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS TO CHALLENGES
OTHERS SAID COULDN'T BE DONE

Rarely can a polyurethane application be served by an off-the-shelf product. That's why Argotec analyzes a customer's total application and business requirements, then creates the best possible solution customized to satisfy those needs.

This total solution focus is uncommon in the specialty film and sheet business. Which is why an ever-increasing number of OEM's, plastics fabricators and converters are turning to Argotec when other less committed companies decline to accept the challenge.

In addition to standard aromatic and aliphatic TPU's in polyester and polyether grades, Argotec also manufactures high-performance films from a wide variety of TPE's, including copolyesters, polyamides, TPO's, and other difficult-to-extrude engineered specialty resins. These include high-hardness materials, very thin films cast onto substrates, as well as numerous colors and surface textures.

The new Argotec Innovation Center was established in 2008 to continue this philosophy and advance the state of polyurethane film and sheet in order to keep pace with the 21st century development of customer products.
