Argotec manufactures precision film & sheet from the most difficult-to-extrude polymers, but the "specialty of the house" has always been thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It performs in applications where typical vinyl films or rubber sheet lack TPU's record of successful performance in rigorous environments and over significantly longer OEM lives. Where failure cannot be tolerated, urethane is The Clear Choice, combining the best properties of rubber and thermoplastic without their inherent weaknesses. Following are some of TPU's most successful applications:

• Glass lamination: ArgoBond® glass lamination films for bullet-, impact-, and hurricane-resistant composites and ArgoEdgeSealPLUS® for edge protection of TPU- and PVB-interlayered laminated glass composites.

• Graphics applications: ArgoGraph® overlaminate films for protecting decorative, advertising, and other performance graphics.
• Specialty films: ArgoThane® specialty films for a wide variety of general and specialty applications that comprise the balance of the current polyurethane film marketplace, as well as other difficult-to extrude specialty polymers.
